We are looking for a team player, with the energy, enthusiasm and dedication to help us create an outstanding learning environment where all our pupils thrive.

About us

We are a small but growing primary school in rural North Buckinghamshire, providing an immersive and exciting education to children from the local community and as far afield as Aylesbury and Milton Keynes.

We have been an infant school with a pre-school, taking children from their second birthday. We are now in the process of expanding to become a full primary, taking children up to Year 6. In September we will have children from 2 year olds up to Year 5.  You will join the school at an exciting time in our journey and will be able to contribute your ideas and energy to help us succeed in our vision to become an outstanding rural primary school.

East Claydon C of E School offers teachers:

  • A friendly rural atmosphere
  • An immersive and exciting curriculum
  • Fantastic outside learning areas
  • Collaborative team
  • Engaged children and supportive families
  • Close partnerships with the local community

About you

You will be committed to ensuring all children enjoy learning and make good progress and in addition you will:

  • have excellent subject knowledge and be able to reflect on your practice;
  • welcome change and thrive on new opportunities;
  • have high expectations for achievement and behaviour;
  • be able to create a stimulating learning environment and culture;
  • enjoy working and sharing in a team of dedicated professionals; and
  • have the potential to become (or will already be) an outstanding teacher.

About the role

You will be teaching a class of Year 3 and 4 pupils whose parents have high expectations of both their learning and emotional wellbeing.

We will provide you with the ongoing professional development you need to become an outstanding practitioner and develop the curriculum and leadership skills that are of interest to you. As we grow, there will be opportunities to take on additional management responsibilities and you will be able to help shape our School’s ethos and curriculum.
