School Governors Vacancies at East Claydon C of E Primary School

East Claydon school is a small Church of England school which attracts pupils from a wide area around The Claydons. We have 4 vacancies for school governors and are seeking people with a desire to contribute to the life of the school. The role of the governors is to support the whole school community, to provide oversight of how the school works and ensure that all the children get the best possible education. We meet 6 times a year and, in addition, are invited into the school to see how the children are taught.

Governors are not expected to have a background in education but to bring their own skills and expertise. The role of a governor is wide-ranging, interesting and fulfilling.

If you would like to become involved or want more information please email the Chair of Governors, Richard Webster, on
